Course Dsecription:

The trainee is introduced to the importance of permit to work (PTW) system in the workplace by understanding the different types of permits that are needed based on the nature of the work being done. Permits are then described in detail in according to what equipment is needed, who shall be in the scope of the permit and under what circumstances, how it shall be issued, and for how long depending on the scope of the work being performed. The trainee shall also be assessed on how to teach this to others by understanding valid presentation skills and underlying the importance of the permit-to-work system..
