Course Dsecription:

The trainee is introduced to the importance of permit to work (PTW) system in the workplace by understanding the different types of permits that are needed based on the nature of the work being done. Permits are then described in detail in according to what equipment is needed, who shall be in the scope of the permit and under what circumstances, how it shall be issued, and for how long depending on the scope of the work being performed.

Introduction to PTW systems & work planning and execution.
PTW types and personnel key responsibilities.
PTW procedure.
PTW duration, suspension and closure.
Practical PTW examples.
