ST114 – IADC DIT (Defensive Driving).
Defensive driving course (DDC) describes the practice of drivers who consciously reduce the dangers associated with driving. DD techniques reduce the likelihood of a collision or incident and can even save costs related to vehicle maintenance and fuel consumption, by driving smoothly and steadily. The DDC has been designed to provide course participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to operate motor vehicles on and off the roadway with due care for the safety and wellbeing of themselves and the occupants of their vehicle, the operators and occupants of other vehicles, and the safety of pedestrians and the property of others.
