This course is the WellSharprecommended training course for persons that requires awareness of well control operations. The course is available to personnel in support roles (e.g., for all personnel working near or in support of the drilling, workover, or completion operations, including office and non-drilling rig personnel).

The course is delivered through presentation of a series of interactive lectures supported by videos and animations, supplemented by a classroom workbook and further selfstudy exercises.

Pressure fundamentals.
Drilling fluids.
Blowout preventer (BOP).
Kick detection.
Kick monitoring & detection.
Shut-in procedures & verification.
